The
H.J Heinz Company Foundation Fellowship Program 2005-2006
: The University Center for International Studies,
University of Pittsburgh. The Fellowship is offered
annually and provides for one year of practical,
professional and non degree educational experiences through
the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,
USA. For each round, Heinz Fellowships will be granted
to two individuals from developing countries who demonstrate
potential as future leaders in the government, non profit or
private sectors. Applicants for this non degree
program should complete the Heinz Fellowship Program
Application Forms.
Completed
applications must be received no later than March 15th
2005. Late materials will not be considered.

- 2006 Digital Vision Fellowship :
The
Program awards approximately twelve (12) fellowships per
year to exceptional social entrepreneurs and technology
professionals from around the world. Successful
candidates have innovative ideas and are passionate about
implementing a project to empower individuals and
communities in the developing world. For this academic
year, work categories include : Low cost internet
connectivity networks, devices and interface and community
building "social" software and learning
tools.
The application
deadline is Tuesday March 15th 2005.

- 2006 Digital Vision Scholarship :
Six
(6) Digital Vision Scholarships for 2005 - 2006 are being
offered courtesy of the Reuters Foundations, the Google
Corporation and the Advanced Micro Devices
Corporation. Digital Vision Scholarship help defray
the living expenses for the duration of the 9 month
program. They are awarded in addition to the Stanford
University Fellowship funded by the Reuters
Foundation. Recipients are from developing world
countries.
